LDRS Creative Project

Today I have a project to share from LDRS Creative!
I wanted to share a card I made
I have included some pictures to take you through the steps I used
when making this.
I used a sentiment from the LDRS Just Because set, and stamped
the image just below it!
I used Copic Xpress It Blending card and colored it
with the following Copic markers-
Now onto the card base!
I made a basic A2 base out of white cardstock, and grabbed the stitched
I took a chunk off of the front page of my card.
Now I will repeat this with the image and some colored cardstock-
Now I will add some patterned paper on the inside of the card, and the
edge will be exposed-
Lastly, I finished up the inside of the card to mimic the outside a bit!
I used a sentiment from the LDRS You set!
And now I will top it off with one of my handmade crocheted flowers!
All done!
Stop by tomorrow for more LDRS inspiration!!

Danika From LDRS Creative

Welcome to my post for LDRS Creative!

This is Rachel here with you today, and I wanted to share a card I made with the Danika stamp from Dollhouse!

I have included photos of the process I went through to make this card.

First I colored Danika and her unicorn up on some Copic Xpress It Blending Card.
Colors used-
Skin- E13, E21, E51, E50, V01, R20, R11
Hair- E04, R56, R59
White Areas- C3, C1
Eyes- G02
Purples and Pinks throughout- combinations of V's and BV's

Next I embellished the image with a decorative stamp from the
LDRS Just Because Sentiment Stamp set.

I also distressed the edges with some scissors.

Now, on to the card base!

I used the stitched diamond patterned embossing die from the LDRS Creative Basics

I just kept lining up the die and used some washi tape to hold it in place,
until I ended up with a beautiful embossed background like this-

I trimmed the edges to fit my 5x5 card base.

Next I used the stitched scallop border die from the LDRS Creative Basics

I used a few different shades of purple cardstock and layered them like so-
(I made sure I off-set the scallops on every row.)

Lastly, I added all of the fun stuff!!

I stamped a sentiment from the LDRS Wishing You Sentiment set
onto an oval from the LDRS Creative Gilded Ovals Labels.

A bow/ribbon, and a few sparkly sequins and she was finished!!

Stop by tomorrow for more LDRS inspiration!!

Here Come The Grads!

Hello Farmers!!  Rachel here with you today, and I have a few graduation cards I want to share with you today!!

This past month was one of the busiest of my life!!  I had an 18 year old graduating from High School, and an 11 year old "graduating" elementary school.  Luckily, The Greeting Farm has some awesome digis perfect for graduating boys or girls!

Here's what I made-

I made two easel cards.

The first is for my youngest, so I used Selene.
IMG_2106
My daughter has long straight hair, so this was perfect!
IMG_2109
Next I grabbed Grad Anya.
IMG_2114
My oldest has wavy hair and this was a perfect match!
IMG_2116

My kids are getting older now, and I won't be making as many teacher cards like when they are little, so I used up all of the school related paper I have been hoarding over the years!! LOL!

The easel cards were super simple!  I started with a regular A2 base, and then I scored the front of the card around the 2 3/4" mark.

I hope this gives you a little crafty inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by!!
