A Mermaid For Summer

It's a gorgeous Saturday here, and I am just settling into Summer!  We have had nothing but rain, but I do enjoy the break from school just as much as my kiddos!

I just have a simple card to share today that totally puts me in the Summer mood!

This is a more recent Mermaid Anya digi that I received from The Greeting Farm!

She is super sweet!!
I ended up printing her a little larger than I realized,
so I ended up making a 5 X 5 card.
I am a solid A2 kind of girl,
but I noticed it was a little easier having
more space to work with!

Hair- YR21, YR23, YR24
Outfit- YG91, YG93, YG95
I tried to keep it all a bit "earthy"

I used glitter card stock for the base,
which can be tricky getting things to
adhere to the glitter.
Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles
Brown Webbed Ribbon
Plastic Bubbles
Gold Die Cut Stars

She was a lot of fun to color, and I hope to use her again before the Summer is finished!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Let's Jam!

Thought I would take a break from our Summer rituals to post a card that I made for fun!!

I used the "Dancer" image from Saturated Canary.

I cut this card out on my Cameo.
The sentiment is from The Greeting Farm's
Creepin Kit.

This is definitely a girly card!!  lol!

That's all from me today!!  I haven't been in my craftroom much lately, and I am hoping to do some serious catching up!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

In Stitches

Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!!

Rachel here with you today, to share the details on my current challenge card!!

This challenge has a fun twist- Stitches!! (faux or real!)

I love me some stitches!!!!!!

See my faux stitching on the paper!!??
All brought to you courtesy of Lawn Fawn, and Memory Box!

After I colored her in, I gave her a "ground", and then I traced
around her with Y13, Y00, & Y000.
I blended outwards until the circle was almost filled in.
Then I used my Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad and went
around the edges, going for a vintage look!
I also used the Distress Ink on the edges of my
patterned paper from Fancy Pants!

I really girled it up with a doily and tiny ribbon from
my stash.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.

Here's a list of my supplies-

So head on over to the 7 Kids Store for these and other fantastic supplies!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
