Embossed Bunny

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!  Rachel here with you today to share a quick project I made with fantastic supplies from the 7 Kids College Fund Store!!!!!

I am totally hooked on Mama Elephant stamps and dies!!  They have the cutest images, and really great sentiments!

I decided to bust out the Distress Ink pads and get a little messy!!

I cut out this over-sized tag shape with a die from Mama Elephant,
wet embossed the image and sentiment from Mama Elephant,
and then went nuts with my Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads!!
I usually blend all of the colors in that I want, and then
lightly spray it with some water to get a little more rustic look.

Here's a list of my supplies used-

Peacock Feathers
Dusty Concord
Wild Honey
Victorian Velvet

And there you have it!!  All in all, it was a relatively quick card, with cute results!!

I hope this gives you some crafty inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Mish Mash

Thought I would share a post today about what's been happening around the Parys household, since I haven't been super-post-y lately....

Me, wearing a SWEATER at the end of May!!
The weather has been utterly depressing, but
I think we are finally over the worst of it!

Poor Hunter still has 3 days of school next week!!  WTH??  Pretty much everyone I know is done, and it stinks that she isn't quite finished yet, but what can you do!!??

Here was Hunter all dressed up for her Jr. Prom-

She had a blast!!  It was so nice that they have the wonderful
new school to have these functions at now!
Teacher gifts!!!
I actually had them ready ahead of time!!

Maddie's last day was this past Wednesday!!
She has made the brave decision to switch schools next year,
so I thought a little ice cream would help with the
fact she had to say goodbye to a lot of her friends.

We are also celebrating Maddie making it onto the Storm Select
Soccer team!!  There were a million girls there, but she
really got out there and showed them how hard she works!!
Totally paid off!!!
Nothing like having Fall soccer tryouts just as softball practice has started!
(it was a tough week!!)

Memorial weekend offered us windows of decent weather, and we
took advantage of it by working our butts off on our yard!
We have been here about 2 months now, and didn't know what to expect
when things started blooming.
I should have taken a before picture, because there were literally 15
bushes in the front yard.
Over half were dead, and the others had never been trimmed a day in their life!
What we accomplished-
Planted a lot of new stuff that is hard to see right now,
but trust me, it's a million times better!

And I even managed to quickly put these cards together for my nieces'
birthday party!!
(stamps are TGF)

Whew, I think that's most of it....

Hope you all are having a fantastic start to your Summer!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Vellum Challenge Card Details!

It's Sunday once again!!  Rachel here with you, giving you all of the details about my vellum challenge card!

Here's my card-

I had to use my Mama Elephant Photo Bomb set, it's too cute!
I colored in these little cuties with my C Copic colors.
I used a sheet from Echo Park's Creative Agenda pad,
for the base.  I then wet embossed one of the sentiments
from the Photo Bomb set onto my piece of vellum
that I cut out using my Stitched Rectangle dies from Memory Box.
I decided to get out the sewing machine and stitch around the
edge of each of my layers.
I had a few scrap pieces of glitter cardstock that matched perfectly,
so I mounted my image on to it, and attached a little heart.
I thought the sequins would be the perfect touch to finish my card off!

Here's my supply list-

Hope this gives you a little crafty inspiration to finish off your weekend!!

Love Your Selfie!

Happy Sunday!!!  Rachel here today with a fun shaker I have made using a few fun items from the 7 Kids store!!!

Check it-

Fun, fun, fun!!!!
I love me some shakers!!
There are a couple different ways to put a shaker together-
1) Cutting foam tape to the size of your frame
2) Cutting out a few of the frames you created until
you reach the desired height. (stacking several of
the frame shapes on top of each other.)
I used the hearts and stars from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journal
set to help create some fun confetti!

I colored the background behind these cuties black
so that they would really "pop" against the white!

Here's the supplies I used-
Memento- Tuxedo Black Ink

Hope this gives you a little crafty inspiration to finish off the weekend!!

Amor Anya

I can't believe I have a card to enter into a challenge!!  lol!  It's been pretty busy around here, and I am often talking about challenges, but never getting to enter any!

I have one of my most recent TGF purchases on the card I am sharing- Amor Anya!! ( 2 Die 4!)

The challenge this week is flowers-
so this card has one of my handmade
crocheted flowers on it!

I have colored her quite a few times, and need to
start attaching the colored images to something!
This was inspired by my daughter's recent bedroom
makeover colors.

I bling-ed her out, and gave her some serious glitter!!
(cause she is a serious girly-girl!)
I used my Heidi Swapp Favorite Things patterned paper.
