We're Headed Skyward!!

So, do you guys remember seeing the cutest Anya in The Greeting Farm
shop a while back?  She was Limited Edition, and gone like hot cakes!!

Good news!!  She is coming back!!

As of April 1st, Skyward Anya will be back in the
Yaaaay!!!

And just to get you in the Skyward mood,
here's a few things I have made with her!!
Fun little frame for some wall decor!
The balloon and sentiment were cut from my Cameo.

Classic black/white.

Super cool Library Pocket Card that was also
a cut file from my Cameo!
The inside pocket was stamped with Taylored Expressions
Love how her hair turned out on this!!  It was a new color combo
that I hadn't used before!!

I forgot to write it down, but I want to say it was-
R24, R29, and E59.

Head over to the TGF blog to see what my DT partner
Rosemary made!

Be sure you also check out the TGF shop on April 1st
so that you can get your very own Skyward Anya!!

Thank Goodness for Spring Break!!

It's finally Spring Break for us!!!  Thankfully my girls had theirs at the
same time this year!!  They go to school in two different school districts, so sometimes
things don't always coincide!
The great thing about Spring Break, besides not going to school,
it ushers in the last few remaining weeks of school before
Summer break hits us!!  I love the last two months of school,
lots things to look forward to!
Yesterday we spent the day with our family besties, and I got
to squeeze in some crafty time while the kids had a blast making
Rainbow Loom bracelets, and some rather interesting videos...
Later we took the kids to a new restaurant and stuffed our faces
with calzones, pizza, and garlic knots!!

Today, who knows.  I think Hobby Lobby is calling my name, and
Maddie has soccer practice tonight.
(the weather better cooperate!)

We still have a few movies to fit in this week, and a good ol' trip
to the dentist! (blech!)

Today I just wanted to share a quick pic of a fun card I put together
using a cut file from the Cameo, it's called the
Library Pocket Card Kit.
It's really fun to work with!!

This is some seriously old MME double sided paper that I used!!  LOL!
I embellished the front with a Dear Lizzy print and cut jar file,
and a flower cut file, both from my Cameo.  I made the crocheted
flower, and attached it with a brad.  The stamp for the inside tag
I attached a ribbon to the top of the tag to make it easier
to pull right out!  I used a brad to secure the ribbon in place,
then tied a little twine bow around it!

This is a quick little tag I made for absolutely no reason at all!!
This is also from Taylored Expressions.
It's called Summer Love.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Be sure to come back, I will have some
super fun stuff for Thursday!!!

Short and Sweet!

Well, it's the first Saturday of Spring and we are
sitting here waiting for the snow to come.
Maddie should have her first soccer game of the season,
but we just don't know yet.....

So while I am waiting, here's a little something I have
cooked up for Easter!

I recently bought my first set of Reverse Confetti stamps!!
They are called Carton Cuties!!
I am still waiting on the matching die set, but I had
to play with these!!
Aren't they "tweet"!!??
(corny, I know.)
I cute these tags on my Cameo, and colored
the images directly on the tag.

This is just a quick journal card I put together
using some of my Paper Issues Goody Bag stash.

WARNING- Extreme Sugar Rush
ahead!!

I made these last night, and they will definitely fill that
sweet-tooth void in your life!!
I found these on Pinterest, but you can find them here!

Have a wonderful Saturday!!

Spring Eternal

WARNING-PICTURE HEAVY TUTORIAL-ISH!!

We have officially made it to Spring!!
And although it may not feel totally "Spring-y", you get a renewed
hope of warmer weather to come!!

Being in the Spring mood helped give me the idea for a project!
I was going for the whole "snow globe" effect, sans water....
Here's what I came up with!!

And here's how I did this!

First of all- eat something from a big jar! (thinking this was spaghetti
sauce, or something along those lines.)
Clean your jar of all food, paper, glue, etc.
I actually painted the outside and inside of my lid white
in case any of it peeked through.

Then you need to color!!
(love that set!)
Once you have your images colored, you need to gather
a serious amount of hot glue and your gun!!
(I think I went through two sticks!)
Now grab yourself some toothpicks!
I taped/glue dotted the toothpicks to the backs of my images.
I left the rather blunt end to be glued to my lid base.
LOTS OF GLUE, HOT, HOT, GLUE!

I made sure that I gave my images enough height to clear
the narrow neck portion of the bottle.
One picture I neglected to take, was of the felt I cut to cover the
inside of the lid, and my mountains of glue!!
I also glued down some iridescent Easter grass too.
You can see the inside bottom a little here.
I made two patterned paper flowers with brads in
the center to glue down on top of the "grass".
I also added another stick behind her with a flag and a cute
flair badge for a little personality!

I finished it up with some ribbon, a bow, and a small flower charm.

Hope I have gotten your Spring-time mojo going!!
This was a fun project, and it gave me ideas for many others!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Up, up, and away!!!!!

Yesterday was a day when you feel like you are repelling all
technology!!!!!
LOL!
I am the worst at getting my cut files that I have downloaded onto my
Silhouette Cameo, and I just got a new camera that has Wi-Fi capabilities!
(anyone knows any good Cameo tuts about files, holler!!)

Today I have an adorable TGF image that I have colored up and put
on a card.
This little baby doll is Up Up Bean!
(sorry, she is currently out of stock.)
I think she is hands-down my favorite Bean thus far!
I used paper from the Teresa Collins collection-You Are My Happy!
I love the colors and prints in this line, they are so different from
the normal stuff you see.
I crocheted the little flower on here with some variegated
embroidery floss.  I then attached it to the white/gold twine
wrapped around the card with an adorable tiny safety pin.
The oval stitched die is from Lil' Inkers.
I used some of my favorite Copic colors-
R20, R22, R24.
&
Y00, Y01, Y02.

For all of you crocheters out there-

I found this pretty and easy crochet flower pattern on Pinterest.

A Nephew's Birthday

One of my Nephews had a birthday yesterday, so a couple of days ago
I decided to crack open the lonely boy stamps!  (poor guys, I really should
use them more often!  Lol!)

My favorite images for the quickly growing boys in the family are my
older looking Ians from The Greeting Farm.

My Guy Ian-

I am really loving all of the stitched dies that are out there!
I used the stitched journal die from Lawn Fawn,
and the On the Diagonal die from Lil' Inker.

I know that these will be gone in a blink, so I really should
make several more!!  lol!

I made these cookies from The Pioneer Woman this past weekend!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Everybody feeling the green today?
My girls are in full St. Patrick's Day swing with their bobble shamrock
headband, bow tie and neck tie, and Irish pins!!

To celebrate today, I made up a card with the adorable
Bushel & A Peck stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs!
They are having a fun sketch challenge also that I am participating in!

Here's the sketch-

Here's mine-
I gave her a bushel of shamrocks!!
This was a great CAS sketch to play along with!
I just love the little felt-like shamrock I received in my monthly
goody bag from Paper Issues!!

Hope you all have a great day with green beer and corn beef!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Sweet Sunday

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
The weather is trying so hard to break free from Winter,
and it is soccer season once again!

Here is a quick card I put together using a ton of items from my
monthly goody bag from Paper Issues!

Nothing too fancy, but it is fun to break from the norm and do
something that does not have a colored image on it!

I made three new recipes this weekend that I found on Pinterest,
and I have to say, we were all pretty impressed!!

The Country Cook: Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

(I left the soy sauce out of mine, and it was just fine!)

Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream {No Machine Required!}
Ok, this was seriously to die for!!!
Taste like a frozen custard, thick and creamy with chunks of graham crackers!!
Maddie and I made it with Raspberry pie filling since we know
Hunter is not a big cherry fan.
The combinations you could use with this recipe are endless!!
These recipes were all perfect for make ahead meals,
we had to go to soccer practice, and all of this was hot and
ready for us when we got home!

Have a great rest-of-your-weekend!!!

More Tress!

Some of you may have seen the second stamp from The Greeting Farm's
Super Secret Stamp Club, but if you haven't, I have another project
that I used the adorable Tress on!

I had a container from some Brie cheese.  It felt like a cross between wood,
and cardboard.  It was a great sturdy container that would be easy to cover
and use for something fun later!

Here's what happened-

I used a hodge podge of bright and happy papers.
Washi tape ran around the side, just to make sure the paper doesn't
come loose! (even those I adhesive-d the heck out of it!)
I made a little felt rolled rose with some leaves, bling, and sequins.
The little smile tag was made from my MFT tag die and stamps, and
a tiny felt heart, and finished off with a small brad.
I love how her hair color turned out!!  It was a new color combo for me-
YR14, YR18, & E09.

This was a great recycling project, and I can't wait to give it to someone!!
(or keep it, she's kind of cute!!)

Thanks for stopping by!!

Let Your Hair Down!

Sometimes a girl has just gotta let her hair down!
Speaking of hair, have you all seen the second stamp from the
Super Secret Stamp Club?
If you haven't signed up for one of the SSSC yet,
this is just a taste of what you are missing!
Each SSSC is for a 3 month limited edition set
of 3-3x4 stamps!!  What will you get?  Well, that part is a mystery,
but it will definitely be as cute as this little doll shown below!
Go here for more details!
So, without further ado....
Her name is Tress, and she is to die for!!!
SSSC #2 Tress
I gave her some lovely long blonde locks here on
this down to earth card.
SSSC #2 Tress
And here I gave her fiery red hair on this fun tag!
I have to admit, I love the bold red color best!!
Keep your eyes peeled for the next SSSC sign-up!
You don't want to miss out!

Slim Pickings

I was crafting recently, and had several thin scraps of white cardstock
left that I just couldn't throw out. (hoarder.)
Then I remembered seeing a post on Pinterest where a crafter made
tall thin cards that could double as a bookmark!!

Here's how mine turned out-

I used Saturated Canary images on both of these!
These were a lot of fun to throw together, and because
they are small, it was a fairly quick project!  I used up
a bunch of scraps on these too!

That's all for today!!

Spring Fever!!

Longest.  Winter.  EVER!!
LOL!
I have a serious case of Spring fever, and I am just itching to break
out the capris and flip flops!!

Until then, I will have to settle for this-

Luuuurrrrvvvee this Wryn!!  This set is called
I used some old MME paper on this!  (seriously old!  lol!)
I also tried a new color combo-  E04, R56, & R59!
That is the color I used for her dress.
I absolutely love my Paper Smooches Notebook Paper die,
it's one of my favorites!!!
Entering this into the TI Green Challenge!!

I always wanted a pogo stick when I was little!!
It probably would have went as well as hula hooping!
(can hula hoop to save my life!!)

Thanks for hopping by!!
(get it?)
