It's a birthday kind of weekend!

I just wanted to sneak in this post for some of the birthday cards I have made recently!  I am so bad about having those on hand, and I usually have to whip one up every time a birthday comes around!  lol!

First up is a Stamping Bella "Uptown Girls" image-

I made this for my friend Kim's bday.

Next is a Tiddly Inks image-

This is from the Birthday Wishes set.
I am also entering this into the 3-2-1 challenge!
You can't see it here, but I put some Glossy Accents on the flames,
it looks really cool in person!  lol!

And lastly-

And this lovely girl is Sitting Wonderful from The Greeting Farm.

Alright, think I am a bit caught up now!

I hope you all have an awesome weekend!!

Happy Friday with The Greeting Farm!

Are we having fun yet!?  Of course we are!  The end of a month means some new fun stamps and/or dies will be arriving at The Greeting Farm!!  After such a fun sneak peek yesterday, I thought I would use the Gate die on my Farm Fresh Friday challenge card!

The theme for the challenge today is....

May Flowers!

So here's mine...

I used Miss Anya Dressy for this.
She fit the frilly flower theme!

Don't you love the Gate die!!  I thought it was a perfect match with her!  I made a fun layered flower and sentiment with my Cameo, and added flower bling to the banner.  I am not so good with flowers, so I kept it kind of simple!

Now it's your turn!  Head on over to the TGF blog and get all of the details on the challenge!  Link up your creation today!!

And don't forget to keep checking in for more fun sneak peeks!!

Warm Fuzzies...

Just a little something to send out some warm fuzzies to all of you out there in blog-land!!

I made this flower on my Cameo, and then crocheted a smaller
cream flower to put in the middle, and then backed it
with cheesecloth.  The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
I need to make cards like this more often!

I have a gorgeous new stamp from Some Odd Girl to share with you all today!  Anyone up for a fairy tale?

Meet Snow White!!

Aren't all of the animals adorable!!!

I stuck with traditional "Snow White" colors this go round, but she would look fantastic in other colors too!  This clear stamp also comes with the "Make Life a Fairy Tale" stamp as well!

Head on over to the Some Odd Girl blog for more inspiration!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Today at The Greeting Farm, they are having an awesome Farm Fresh Friday Challenge!  It's time to recycle/alter something and create a gorgeous TGF project!  I know you have a little something sitting around the house that could be put to good use!!

I, myself, have a ton of gift boxes!!  Unfortunately, they are all Christmas ones!!  lol!  I changed up this tiny Xmas box and made it a little more user-friendly!

I am really happy with how this turned out, I was a little worried
in the beginning!

I think I have had this sheet of red/pink/green patterned paper for at least a year or two.  I wanted to use it on something special.  I pieced all of my papers to completely cover the old box, and sealed off the edges with some washi tape.  I used the darling Alice for my topper, and the Enjoy die from Delicate Words to finish it off!  (doesn't her dress look cute in red & pink!!??)  I can use this box for a ton of different occasions now!

Head on over to the TGF blog to see what all of my team-mates altered, and get all of the details of the challenge!  I can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

It's Another Fun DTT!!

Welcome back for another Double Take Tuesday challenge over at The Greeting Farm!!  Today we have a great sketch challenge from my super talented team-mate Suzanne!

Here's my take!

Cheshire is too darn cute!

If you haven't gotten her yet, you better hurry up!  These Alice in Wonderland themed Beans will not be around forever!!

I used the awesome Kneehighs paper pad from Basic Grey!  I LOVE this pad!

6x6 Paper Pad - Knee Highs

I also used the Hello from the Delicate Words die set.  The notebook paper is a die from Paper Smooches, and the flower is a die from My Favorite Things.  See the "enamel dot" in the middle of the flower?  I made that from melting down plastic beads in my oven!!  See the tutorial here!

Get your kraft on!

Scroll down for the TGF post!

Today there is a super fun challenge happening at the Some Odd World Community!

We want you to color your kraft!  Yes!  Break out the kraft paper and stamp it with one of your fav Some Odd Girl images, then reach for the markers, pencils,....whatever floats your boat!

Here's a SOG image I colored on kraft paper with Copics, water color pencils, and gel pen-

I used Gwen In Bloom for my image.

I colored her entirely with Copics, except for the under part of her dress.  The back, outside edge of the under part of her dress is a pretty thin area, and I wanted it to really  stand out because the light is hitting it, so I used a white gel pen there.  The underneath-inside part is colored with a white watercolor pencil, and shaded with a grey watercolor pencil.

Here is a list of the Copics I used-

Skin- E00, E21, E11
Hair- E44. E47, E49
Eyes- G12, G14
Dress- R11, R14, R17  Waist band- BG45, BG49
Boots- E31, E33, E37
Flower- Y35, Y38

I tend to reach for very dark and bold colors when I color on kraft so that it stands out really well.

Now head on over to the Some Odd Girl Community and check out some more inspiration!
