Time for a new FFF...

Are you all ready for a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge to start off your weekend!??  This is a real fun one that was cooked up by one of my teamies over at The Greeting Farm.

It's a "Message Me" theme!  All you need to do is include anything with script on it!

Here's mine-

Gracie is just "to die for"!!

I have had this piece of paper with the purses on it forever!! (think it's Cosmo Cricket)  The purse die is a Cuttle Kids die that came with a high heeled shoe, a crown, and a bow.  The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set.  I used some of my fav Copic colors on this- Y26 & Y28, also R22, R24, and R27.

Head on over to The Greeting Farm's blog for all of the details, and link up your creation!!

Some Odd Girl Fun!

If you haven't seen the new SOG forum, you NEED to check it out!!  See their home page here and click on FORUM for all the  deets!

There was a fun challenge over this past week, A Pop Of Color!!  Basically you work with grey, and add one color for well, POP!!

This is what I made-

I used Photo Kaylee for this.  I have had her for a while,
but have yet to play with her. (it was fun!!)

It's been a long time since I have done any black/white coloring, and I really enjoy it!  It can be a challenge, but I don't spend a lot of time matching up colors with paper, so that makes things go much quicker.  I have had this grey/yellow paper forever, (think it is from Authentique), and this was the perfect opportunity to get it out.  The "you are so nice" sentiment is from Paper Smooches, but the rest are all stamps included in this Kaylee set.

Check out the new forum when you can, and get a load of some serious inspiration over there!

Farm Fresh Friday!!!

So many good things happen on Friday!!!  Today over at The Greeting Farm, we have another fun challenge for you all to play along with!

This is one of my favorites because I love me some Dies or Punches!!!  Yep, start cutting up that paper!

Here's Lovely Bean for my challenge card today!

I know I would look ridiculous, but just once, I
swear I'm going to fix my hair like this! (yep, flower
and all!)  ;)

I busted out a nestie to cut out around my image, and I used a cute little flower punch for my 80's neon green flower!

DTT At The Greeting Farm!

Hello fellow Farmer fans!!  You all ready for a new Double Take Tuesday Challenge??  I thought so!

Today's challenge is to use blue and yellow!  Easy enough!

I really enjoyed this color combo!!
Here is the latest Bean addition-

Copics used. (hope you can see them..)

I used a sort of postage stamp shaped die set to make the entire card.  The flower and banner dies are from My Favorite Things.  I also colored an extra flower from her hair to attach to the banner.  Since I fussy cut her, I had to glue her wings onto the back side of her, but I think they still look pretty good.

Happy Sunday!!

I don't know about you guys, but it is crazy-cold here in Colorado right now!!  I really need adhesives and foam dots, but I am so not going anywhere if I don't have to!!  lol!

I had some time to color a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl that I have had for some time now.

Here is Coy Kaylee-

Love that giant "flirt" badge.  It's from a pack I found
at Archivers by Creative Imaginations.

Copics used-
Skin- E000 E00 E21 E11 R02 YR02
Eyes- B000 B02  Sweater & Shoes- YR18 YR14 YR12
Skirt- B14 B12  Tee & Socks- N0 N2
Hair- E15 E08 E18

I think the butterfly paper was probably a Recollections sheet I picked up at Michaels.  The cloud dies are from My Favorite Things, and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.  I used a couple different dies to make the flower under the big brad.  After I cut out a few colors and shapes I wanted for the flower, I then crumpled them up to give it some texture and body.  The salmon colored cardstock with the stitching was cut  using just the end of one of my Nesties.  To finish it off, I then put a few pieces of washi tape on two opposite corners. (the tape is from Smash)

In case you haven't heard- there is a new fun forum that SOG is using for all of us SOG fans to hang out and talk stamps, paper, whatever you want!  You can also post SOG pics, and get loads of inspiration from everyone in there!  Check it out here!

Wow, lots of abbreviations!  lol!  How about The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday!  Yay!!  Today's challenge is a really unique one that my super smart DT pal came up with- today is International Thank You Day!!!  So here's my Thank You card!!

I gotta say, I LUV this little girl!!  This is Gracie
from TGF's current set of new releases!

I used my itty bitty banner punches from EK, finally!  The sentiment is from one of my Paper Smooches sets.

Made a buddy!

Today I wanted to share a simple little token I have made myself.  When I look around my craftroom, all I see are tools, paper, embellies, evidence of my actual work!

This is Sitting Wonderful from The Greeting Farm!
(one of their awesome new releases!)

I have a ton of glass jars, I really love them.
(no idea why.)

A little side view.

Since I used some eyelets on each end,
I can simply tie this to whatever I want
without making it a permanent attachment.

Flat version before tying her on.

Copics used.

Isn't she cute??  Now I have a little someone hanging out with me all day!

Visiting The Greeting Farm blog and store for a ton of stamping inspiration!!

Great way to start the new year...

If you haven't stopped by The Greeting Farm's blog today, then you must go check it out!  They have announced the new Showcase Design Team for 2013, and I am proud to announce that I am part of that wonderful team!!  The Greeting Farm holds a special spot in my heart, and I couldn't be happier to be working with some of the most talented people I know!

Over Christmas break I put together a little card album using Olivia from the Lovey Dovey set.

I saw this idea on Pintrest, and just had to make some!  (still need one for myself!)  If you haven't heard me say it before, I LOVE coloring on kraft paper!!!  This time I used varying shades of brown, but often I use normal colors as well.  I built the flower out of different shaped scalloped circles, and plain circles.  I crumpled up the circles and used some distressing ink on them to give them depth and character.

Have yourself a little look-see and find out about the other lovely ladies on the new TGF team!

Happy New Year everyone!
