Turkey hangover...

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm still carrying a bit of Thanksgiving around with me. :)  But, it is time to switch gears and get on with the craziness of Christmas.  I have the inside decorated, but we're still working on the outside.

I actually had some time yesterday to sit and throw togetger a few xmas cards.  I am hoping to send everyone on my list a special handmade card, but we will have to see how far I get!

I used all of my cutie pies from The Greeting Farm.

Sweet little Oliver from the Happy Day set.
 Royal Pain digital stamp.
And finally, sweet Stella!

These really helped me get into the Christmas spirit.  Now only 30 more.....

Holy Cow....

I spent all weekend in my craft room.  Literally.  But I feel like I should have gotten more accomplished.  The nice thing though, when I was finished, and it looked as though a bomb had went off, it only took me about 10 minutes to clean up!

So, here's what I came up with.  And yes, it's all from The Greeting Farm!

 Cheeky Cherry Naughty or Nice
 Amelia Buddies

Paul from the Roll Call Collection (someone used him as Sue from Glee, and I can't think of him any other way now! he he)
 Oliver Buddies
 Cheeky Chat

 Me Time Anya

Whew, I think I got them all in there.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm super ready for some turkey!!!!

Happy Breaking Dawn Day!!!

Is everyone as excited as me to see Breaking Dawn?  I thought the day would never come.  I will give it a little time to let the crowds die down before I hit the theater.

I spent the last couple of days with my good friend Kim, (she gets me into all sorts of trouble! ;p) working on some xmas stuff.  We put together a cute Christmas Gift Tag Wallet that we saw on Splitcoast Stampers.(i'll post the pic for that soon.)

And here's a few other things I managed to get done.

The first pic is a cute lil' Miss Anya from The Greeting Farm.  And I actually dolled up the inside!  The following two are from a set of Recollection stamps that I found at Michaels.  I like the Christmas tree, it reminds me of Charlie Brown's.

I hope to get a lot accomplished this weekend.  It will be my first full weekend in my new craft room!  Whoooo Hooooo!

Busy, Busy!

Well, over the last two days, I have been using the heck out of my new craft room!  I LOVE it!

I was also fortunate enough to be featured in the Customer Spotlight of The Greeting Farm's November newsletter!!!  What an honor!  I included some projects I am working on for the upcoming holidays.

At the top is cute little Summer from TGF Roll Call collection.  I am making personalized place cards for Thanksgiving dinner.  Each one will be made in the likeness of my family member along  with a "thankful" sentiment on the inside.

The second picture is cute little Stella from TGF, on the front of a box that I will fill with all-occasion cards for Christmas gifts.  I have been lucky at finding some really cute stuff in the Target dollar bins, such as the fall paper on the place card, and the cute little box holding the cards.

The rest of my pics are Cheeky Rockabilly, Sweet Anya, and Oliver & Amelia.  Oliver's sled was a cute stamp set I found at Michaels, it's one of the Recollections sets.  All of these cute little kiddos can be found here.

And lastly, let's not forget the MOST IMPORTANT news of the week, BREAKING DAWN STARTS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can you stand the wait???

Drum Roll Please!

I never thought the day would come!  Two months of grueling weekends, and many sore muscles later, we have finally finished the work on our basement!  We now have a wonderful family room, a huge bathroom, and most importantly.... MY VERY OWN CRAFT ROOM!!!!!  I tried to put a lot of thought into what I wanted my room to look like, and what I would put in that room to use it to it's fullest capacity.  Here's what I came up with!

Double doors

No carpet, for easy clean up!

Huge surface to work on.

A little nook for sewing.

Two pendant lights for optimal lighting.

I found the idea for this craft table here!

And I have to give a huge THANKS to my brother, without him, none of this would have been possible!  Thank you for everything, Jason.

Now, let's see what i can make in this awesome craft room!

Feel free to share any ideas you may have used in your craft room to make a little easier!

One last hurrah.

Yikes, it's cold and snowy out today, perfect day for crafting!  I had to get in my last bit of Halloween stuff before I completely change gears.  I made a rather large easel card for The Greeting Farm's Monday Fun-day challenge.

I decided to go gray with my TGF characters.  That is Hallo Bride and Hallo Witch from the digital images.  I also used my cute little cloud stamp from my Avocado Arts set.  I recently found the fence punch at Michaels, already on clearance!  It's a Martha Stewart punch, and it's lots of fun!!

I need to get busy on my journal entry this week.  It should be fun, it's all about sticky stuff!  Tape, stickers, etc.

Have a great day!
