Time to get back on track!!

Sure, I say that now!!
Both of my kids have officially started back to school!!  (happy dance!)
Hunter is in 11th grade, and Maddie is in 4th!
Man, I am getting old!!

I made a quick little post-it note holder for Maddie's teacher-

I used a Saturated Canary image called Tammy Pie.
The paper is from the MME pad called Playdate.
The notebook edge is from MFT.
The sentiment is from TGF.

I found this perfect post-it pad in the Target dollar bin!!

The two pointed tags are my new dies from Reverse Confetti!

Whatever will I do with myself the rest of the day!!

Framed Work

Today I just wanted to quickly share another framed colored image that I made recently.  The image is Shelly from Wee Stamps, and she is a total cutie pie!!

This pic totally stinks with all of the reflection from the glass,
but I just wanted you to see her close up!
I love that darn turtle!!

I usually buy these 8x8 frames from Hobby Lobby when they go on sale, they have enough space inside that allows you to use fat embellies!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Wow, it's August!!

Can you believe it's August!!??  It's only a matter of days now before the girls will be heading back to school.  I have mixed feelings about that.  They are incredibly bored at home and miss their friends, but they also love staying up late and sleeping in late, that will be my biggest challenge when school rolls back around!

I wanted to share with you a box that I decorated for my niece's birthday a couple of weeks ago.  I used an adorable Saturated Canary image called Vintage Violet on the box, and I think she just might be my fav SC image of all!!

The box was just an old Proactiv box I had laying around.  I completely
covered it inside and out with MME patterned paper.
Inside I stuffed it full of nail polish and all nail related goodies.

I also sewed up a small zipper pouch for Hunter to store her Iphone in.  She loves M&M characters!

I paid too much attention to the characters on the inside, and not enough
to the ones on the outside!  lol!!  Oh well!

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!

A little random...

I have many projects done, but just haven't had the time for pics.  I have just a couple cards here that I put together a while ago just for the heck of it!!

This is A La Modes Birthday Girl!

And this is just some shapes I had cut up on the ol' Cameo and put together.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

July 21, 2014

I trust everyone had a great weekend!!  I was able to finish up a few crafty things, and then clean up after myself.  It's amazing the mess that one little card can make!!  lol!

Today I am sharing a simple little box I made with my Cameo and a Saturated Canary image.

This image is called Secrets!
I have been meaning to color this for a long time,
glad I finally did!

This box is the Lori Whitlock A2 Card Organizer box.
I used a seriously old piece of MME patterned paper for it.  (I think it was MME...)
I distressed the image and used lots of burlap/woodsy type embellies.
The "Sup?" sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Slang Gang set.

Well, I am off to do some more sewing today!  Hopefully I will have some more projects to share with ya soon!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Burlap & Bouquets

It is Friday once again!!  We are winding down with softball season, and have about a month of Summer left!  I love having my girls home, but the constant cleaning.....oy!!!

Here's a picture of another image that I have framed.  The image is from Saturated Canary-

(hard to get a good pic through the glass...)
She is called Cali Girl!
I found this burlap covered 8" x 8" frame at Hobby Lobby
and knew it would be perfect with her!!
I used a bunch of items from my Paper Issues Swag Bag,
and several other items from the Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets
pad and flairs.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!
